ESP’s LTD M-400M is an electric guitar featuring a double-cutaway mahogany body with a blue chrome metallic finish. Measuring 25.5″ in scale, its bolt-on, three-piece maple neck is fitted with a maple fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets. The strings are secured by a set of Grover tuners, along with a Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo bridge. Additionally, the M-400M’s black hardware complements the blue chrome metallic finish of the instrument itself.
For electronics, this guitar is outfitted with a pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups: The SH-1n ’59 Model—providing a traditional PAF tone with scooped mids and a brighter top-end in the neck position—and the TB-4 JB Model Trembucker, which offers upper-midrange attack, an articulate low-end, and harmonically rich highs at the bridge. A three-way pickup selector switch and a single volume knob are all you need to rock out with this axe.
